Product Description
Gorgeous British classic road frame and fork from the legendary master framebuilder Ron Cooper's London workshop. This one is likely from the late 1970's to mid 1980's due to it's Shimano UF "semi-vertical" dropouts. It features gorgeous but simple lugs matched to a sloping fork crown with unique very wide and pointy tangs. The back of the head tube features an embossed "C in diamond" Ron Cooper logo. Paint is a gloriously deep and metallic forest green (very similar to bass boat green). This would build into a lovely bike for L'Eroica rides.
Ron Cooper got his start in frame building apprenticing for A.S. Gillot in 1947, and then struck out on his own to form Ron Cooper Cycles in the 1960's. He continued building top quality frames until his death in 2012.
Condition
Overall very clean condition. Zero dents/dings. Decals are practically mint. Very few light scratches, no scuffs I can note. There's a smattering of small paint chips
