Product Description
This is a genuine 1st generation Super Record seatpost from 1973-1978. It is distinguished from the much more common Nuovo Record two-pin seatpost with it's factory flutes, drilled out pivots, alloy clamp side ears, and different inscriptions that wrap all the way around the top of the post. The size is engraved into both sides of the post, and the Campagnolo script is on both the front and the back. The flutes are quite shallow from the factory, vs the deep dramatic ones that are done aftermarket to NR posts. The flutes are infilled with yellow paint for that Italian vibe!
Condition
Excellent used shape! The clamp, ears, rail guides, and bolts are near mint. Heavy insertion marks stop at the minimum insertion line. Above that there's some faint zigzag insertion marks and general wear.
