1998 Manitou X-Vert R Dual Crown DH Fork: TPC Damper - Black & Orange - V/Disc (Near Mint+ Low Miles!)
Super clean and rare top level dual crown downhill fork from 2000 (although it is often mistakenly called a triple crown fork). It was a direct competitor to the Rockshox Judy XL & XLC, as well as the Marzocchi Bomber Jr. T. It is identified as a 2000 model via it's standard I.S. 74mm disc mounts. The 1999 had the obsolete 69mm post mount, and 2001+ had 74mm post mounts.
The R is the upgraded version from the X-Vert T. This Xvert R features 30mm stanchions, an adjustable TPC damper, 3 piece cast and bonded lowers, whereas the T was just a double crown version of the SX with 28mm stanchions, basic non-adjustable damper, one piece lowers.
Near mint or better with very low miles! This is a fully functional fork that's worthy of most all show bikes aside from NOS wall hangers. It's action is super smooth, rebound and compression feel wonderful. Zero leaks, stanchions are clean. Boots are mint. Cosmetically the only wear worth noting is around the decals and dropouts, and it's relatively minimal. Crowns and adjustment knobs are near mint. Underside of the brake arch is near mint! The photos represent the condition well.
