Product Description
This is an early gen fillet brazed Ritchey road fork. Tom Ritchey's first road forks were biplane crowns, he switched to fillet brazed somewhere in the early 1980's. The first ones like these were works of art with very smooth lines and no logos on crown or fork ends. The leg bend is a graceful and smooth transition that starts high up on the leg. The later 1990's forks had the Ritchey logo engraved into each fork crown shoulder, Ritchey branded fork ends, and a more dog-leg bend. These are rarely seen not installed on their original bike.
Condition
Excellent used shape, a great candidate for a repaint to match your frame. No bends/dents/cracks. The paint has chips and scratches throughout.
