Product Description
Gorgeous Gran Criterium from 1980, one of the first frames out of the San Marco, California facility. Frame number is MC52, D8033 which puts it solidly in the middle of 1980. Chrome flat fork crown, World Champion Stripe band decals on the seat tube. I suspect this one is restored due to the paint/decals being very close to immaculate yet the crown has light pitting. If it's a restoration, it's a VERY nice one. Color is the medium blue stock color.
Condition
Likely restored/repainted. The paint is practically pristine. The only wear I see is light chips on the bottom edge of the bb shell from BB installation/removal and dropout axle marks in one position only. There might be a pinpoint mark or three elsewhere but nothing worth noting and nothing you'll see without very closely studying it. Chrome crown has pitting beginning. Zero dents/dings. This one's a showpiece.
